Hazardous Roads

Whether you’re driving down a quiet residential street or in bumper-to-bumper traffic there are certain precautions that a driver must follow in order to prevent accidents. For example, a driver should not text or use other hand-held devices while driving. Keep eating and drinking to a minimum and utilize defensive driving techniques every time you get behind the wheel.

Inclement weather can enhance the danger of hazardous road conditions and increase your chances of a serious accident. It can cause a blowout and even cause a driver to spin out of control. Even though it is the states responsibility for hazardous roads, it is still our responsibility as drivers to take precaution.
It is imperative that you are fully aware of what’s going on around you while driving. Being alert and diligent will help you to avoid an accident. This is why it is so important to obey the speeding limits and traffic laws. Speeding down a potential defective road will only increase the effect of a hazardous condition.
